Human development

All countries in the world and its citizen aspire to live in an inclusive, respectful and peaceful societies. Culture, social inclusion, education, professional trainings and healthcare are fundamental services to citizens providing the basis for the development of the human capital for the society and the economy. SDG 16 on Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions asks for all countries in the world to “end violence, promote the rule of law, strengthen institutions and increase access to justice”.

EMI’s experience in this regard provides expertise in building capacities at individual and organisational levels. By providing support and evidence-based approach for policy development, training and institutional capacity reinforcement, conducting surveys, research and feasibility studies related to these topics, EMI assist the authorities and civil society organisations to improve governance, gender equality and civic engagement.
